Deadly’ Derek to play his 300th game at Nuna

Scott Witherden plays his 200th

Nuna Life Member. gun all-rounder and long-term committee-man ‘Deadly’ Derek Clark plays his 300th game on Saturday Feb 3. He will play alongside great mate and fellow 300-gamer Dave Cowell on Bob Saker Oval which will be a great highlight for both players. The club wishes Derek all the best and looks forward to saying to the Vermont batters, ‘let’s get this Ringwood batsman out’ and ‘if we get him out before tea, does that mean he can’t come back in after tea’

The Club also acknowledges Scott ‘Dick’ Witherden, finally playing his 200th game at Nuna. After not missing a game for 17 seasons to get to 193 games, it took another 17 to get to 200. It’s great to have him back on the field, now all he has to do is stop breaking down 😉
