Dave Saker appointed as Australian cricket team Assistant Coach

Nunawading CC’s own Dave Saker has been appointed as the Australian cricket team Assistant Coach.

Congrats mate from all your friends at Nuna.

For those newer to Nunawading, Dave played all his juniors at Nuna, played in our 1983/84 Macintosh Shield Grade premiership as a 16 year old before embarking on his cricket playing and coaching career. He is also the son of Bob Saker, the Nuna legend after whom our main ground is named after, brother of former Nuna greats Trevor and Bill Saker and brother-in-law of Nuna Life Member Alan Gale as well as Dad of current Under 14 player Kurtis.

So he is a big part of both the history and future of our great club.
