Nuna playing Grand Finals !

3 Grand Finals this week at Nuna !

After a great weekend of cricket, Nuna has three teams playing Grand Finals this week.

The First XI had a great win against Blackburn, making 7/301 on day 1 with Buddy Mendis, 136 no, Marc Lamont, 41, Trent Batchelor 33, Stu Hamilton 23 and Chris James 23 no being the main run scorers. We bowled Balckburn out for 99 on day 2 with Scotty ONeill taking 3/22, Chris James 2/33 and Zac Dunlop 2/9. Mal West took 5 dismissals including 2 leg side stumpings.

The 1-day legends also had a great win, making a great 279 off 40 overs. Scotty Millar made yet another 50 retired, Glenn Turner 39 ret hurt (and in doubt for the GF), Scotty Jackson 34 Chris Edwards 24, Leigh Callender 24, Brad Tassell 23 no. Melbourne Falcons were a/o 188. Steve Sinclair 3/22, Scotty Jackson 2/12, Leigh Callander 2/23

Senior Grand Finals:

First XI vs Box Hill North Superkings at Bob Saker Oval, 1 pm start Sat and Sun

One-Day XI vs Glen Waverley Hawks at Mahoneys Res Oval No. 2.

1 pm start Sat

Please come and support the club if you can. The Social Rooms will be open on Saturday and Sunday.

Under 12B Lightening Premiership

Our Under 12B’s play a lightening premiership (for teams finishing 5th-8th) this Wednesday and Friday from 5 pm at Bob Saker Oval. It would be great to see them get plenty of support.
