Some great new additions at Nuna

The Club is delighted to announce the return of two ‘Nuna-boys’ from the past in Tim Sproule and Heath James.

Tim Sproule

Tim is a former Club President, First XI player and Third XI captain who has served the club in many capacities for around 20 years. Tim moved to the ‘boonies’ a few years ago and has been playing local cricket since then. Tim has agreed to return to Nuna in a club leadership role where he will help guide practice, serve on the committee as Grounds and Equipment Manager and play a leading role with his tweakers and middle-order batting in the First XI. Welcome back Sprouley.

Heath James

Heath is the 2nd of 4 sons of club legend and life member Colin James and brother of current player Christian. Heath played juniors at Nuna before blossoming into a fine keeper/batsman who played in our last First XI premiership team in 1999/2000. Heath, or Burger as he is known, is married with three children and has been living in Mildura in recent years. He and his family have just returned to Melbourne and we are looking forward to seeing Burger alongside his brother in their Dad’s club colours in October. Good to have to you back Heath !
